NASHVILLE, Tennessee, May 16 -- Rep. Jim Cooper, D-Tennessee, issued the following statement regarding the Air Force Secretary's announcement of criteria and nation-wide competition for the U.S. Space Command Headquarters:
"I am shocked by the announcement of a billion-dollar competition for a new U.S. Space Command headquarters.
"This is worse than a boondoggle; it's a moondoggle. This is more Trump Administration grandstanding on the Space Force and its comb . . .
