WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Michigan, issued the following statement:
Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) voted against Speaker Pelosi's partisan proxy voting proposal and called on the House of Representatives to safely get back to work. H.Res. 965 ignores more than 200 years of precedent to put in place an untested system that undermines the constitutional responsibilities and deliberative process of the institution.
