WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Gary Peters (MI) and Debbie Stabenow (MI) announced $315 million in federal funds will be awarded to the State of Michigan to expand its coronavirus testing operations. This funding comes from the $25 billion for testing that Peters and Stabenow fought to be included as part of the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act they helped enact last month.
