WASHINGTON, May 15 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce issued the following news release on May 14:
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross praised today's announcement by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) of plans to invest approximately $12 billion to construct a new 5-nanometer semiconductor production facility in Arizona.
