WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, issued the following news release:
Chair Peter DeFazio (OR-04) and Chair Frank Pallone (NJ-06) introduced legislation to withdraw the United States from the World Trade Organization (WTO).
"The WTO has been a disaster for the United States. With millions of jobs exported, ballooning trade deficits, and the erosion of U.S. sovereignty, the WTO has a 25-year track record of putting the profits of multinational corpo . . .
