Sens. Stabenow, Peters Announce Over $41 Million in Funding for Michigan to Respond to COVID-19

WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (MI) and Gary Peters (MI) announced $41,885,728 in funding to help cities and counties in Michigan respond to the COVID-19 outbreak through Community Development Block Grants. This is the second round of funding that was included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which was signed into law on March 27, 2020.
