WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Rep. Ron Wright, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Ron Wright (R-TX) and Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (D-WA) have introduced bipartisan legislation that will give Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) recipients the ability to purchase more fresh fruits and vegetables at a time when families are hungry and farmers have lost a lot of their supply chain markets.
