Rep. Walden Issues Statement on EPA Announced $1.7 Million in Brownfields Grants

WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, issued the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency announced $1.7 million in Brownfields grants to Oregon's Second District:
Specifically, Baker Technical Institute in Baker City will receive $500,000, Harney County will receive $600,000, and The Dalles will receive $600,000. In 2018, Walden led the effort to reauthorize the Brownfields program.
