Sens. Stabenow, Peters Announce Over $27 Million in Funding for Ann Arbor, Port Huron Transit Services

WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (MI) and Gary Peters (MI) announced that Ann Arbor and Port Huron will receive $27,250,000 in funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). This funding is a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was signed into law on March 27, 2020. The funds will be used to operate transit services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
