WHITE PLAINS, New York, May 7 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following news release:

Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17/Rockland-Westchester), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, announced nearly $700,000 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants to Westchester and Rockland Counties.
