PIERRE, South Dakota, May 6 -- Gov. Kristi Noem, R-South Dakota, issued the following news release on May 5:
Secretary Kim Vanneman, Secretary of the South Dakota Department of Agriculture, publicly announced her retirement. Her last day as Secretary of Agriculture will be May 8, 2020. Lieutenant Governor Larry Rhoden will step in as Interim Secretary of Agriculture.
