Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.) released the following statement after the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced an update for Social Security Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans Affairs (VA) beneficiaries who were not required to file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 - and have dependents - and must complete a simple tax return on IRS.gov by May 5, 2020 in order to quickly receive . . .
