WASHINGTON, May 2 -- Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Oregon, chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, issued the following statement on U.S. airlines' announcement requiring cloth masks for frontline employees and passengers during check-in, boarding, in-flight and deplaning in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19:
