WASHINGTON, April 30 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) commended the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) for earning a $3.3 million research grant from the U.S. Department of Energy and the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). The grant will be used to support UTD's ongoing research to develop technology around offshore wind turbine systems.
