WASHINGTON, April 29 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following statement on April 28 after officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Health and Human Services Department acknowledged in congressional briefings that states continue to face shortages of personal protective equipment and coronavirus testing supplies:
