Rep. Lowey Issues Statement on FDA Warning to E-Cigarette Product Manufacturers, Retailers That Target Youth, Teens

WASHINGTON, April 28 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement on April 27 regarding the warning letters issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to manufacturers and retailers who sell e-cigarette products that target youth and teens:

These FDA letters come eight months after Congresswoman Lowey asked the FDA to remove these illegal vaping products from the market and specifically highlighted the UWELL Amulet . . .
