NEW YORK, April 28 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, issued the following statement regarding New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's announcement on the L Train tunnel rehabilitation project completion:
"After the severe flooding caused Hurricane Sandy, the Canarsie Tunnel was left in desperate need of repair.
"I am very pleased that necessary repairs were completed without the full tunnel shutdown, which would have significantly impacted my constituents and small bu . . .
