WASHINGTON, April 28 -- Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) and U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) wrote to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General calling for an investigation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to determine if the FDA's decision-making process has been compromised by political pressure to promote unproven therapies to treat COVID-19.
