WASHINGTON, April 25 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration issued the following news release on April 23:
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced that the Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.5 million grant to Southern Tier Network, Inc. in Corning, New York, to install approximately 83 miles of high-speed dark fiber-optic cable to support businesses in six counties.
