WASHINGTON, April 25 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following statement on April 24 commending Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-New York, for mailing absentee ballot applications to registered voters for the upcoming June 23 election and calling on Congress to swiftly pass emergency legislation to save the Postal Service in the wake of the coronavirus crisis:
