WASHINGTON, April 24 -- Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) announced Maine will receive $5,075,000 from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in support of the state's COVID-19 response.
The funding, which was provided through the CARES Act, will go towards epidemiology & lab capacity for COVID-19 diagnosis and testing.
