WASHINGTON, April 24 -- Rep. Tomaz Malinowski, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on April 23:
The House of Representatives passed a bipartisan interim emergency funding package that secures additional critical funding for small businesses, hospitals and COVID-19 testing.
The initial interim package introduced by Senate Republicans was a one-sentence bill, simply providing an additional $250 billion for the small business Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). . . .
