WASHINGTON, April 24 -- Rep. Andy Levin, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

Congressman Andy Levin (D-Mich.) and U. S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) released a white paper outlining their proposal for a federal contact tracing program to halt the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The lawmakers are calling for their plan for nationwide contact tracing to be included in the next COVID-19 response package from Congress.
