WASHINGTON, April 23 -- Rep. Russ Fulcher, R-Idaho, issued the following statement on the developments out of Hong Kong:
"The arrest of more than a dozen former legislators and democratic leaders in Hong Kong recently is both disappointing and wrong.
Hong Kong was promised autonomy by China in the 1984 agreement with the United Kingdom. China needs to live up to its end of the bargain, and not allow the Chinese Communist Party and others in the Beijing government t . . .
