WASHINGTON, April 23 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, issued the following statement on April 22:
Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the statement below after the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to allow the state of Arkansas to enforce a ban on elective abortions during the China virus outbreak:
"Medical resources--especially during a pandemic--should be used to preserve life, not end it.
"Today the 8th Circuit Court upheld the rule . . .
