WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Rep. Andy Levin, D-Michigan, issued the following statement:
Congressman Andy Levin released the following statement after Beaumont Health, which operates a hospital in Michigan's 9th District, announced that it would temporarily lay off 2,475 employees and eliminate 450 positions due to financial strain caused by the COVID-19 crisis:
"This shouldn't be happening. Health care systems nationwide are buckling under the enormous weight of the C . . .
