WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, ranking Republican member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement on the bipartisan agreement to fund the Paycheck Protection Program:
"I'm glad an agreement has finally been reached to provide needed funds for the PPP, and look forward to supporting it, but it didn't have to be this way. Democrat Leaders in the House and Senate have played partisan politics every step of the way, needlessly . . .
