WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement on the coronavirus spending package:
"I am glad that an agreement has finally come together to provide nearly $500 billion dollars for small businesses, as well as hospitals and healthcare providers, and I am looking forward to returning to Washington to vote for it.
"There was no reason for Democrats to delay help . . .
