WASHINGTON, April 17 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, ranking member of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on the announcement of the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of the Treasury that eligible veterans who do not file income taxes do not need to file a tax return in order to receive stimulus check:
