WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Rep. Brian Higgins, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) announced a federal grant totaling $317,641 for Smith Boys Shipyard. The award is funded through the United States Department of Transportation Small Shipyard Grant Program. This is the first Small Shipyard grant awarded to a New York State operator in the last 10 years.
