WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release:

U.S. Sens. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), James Lankford (R-Okla.), Todd Young (R-Ind.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Michael Enzi (R-Wyo.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) sent a letter to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) requesting that lenders be permitted to submit applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) despite the program's funding lapse.
