HOUSTON, Texas, April 17 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) announced that William P. Hobby Airport was awarded nearly $50.9 million under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The CARES Act was signed into law on March 27, 2020, and it includes $10 billion in emergency funds to be awarded as economic relief to save our nation's airports and their employees.
