WASHINGTON, April 17 -- Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Armed Services Committee, issued the following statement after Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai circulated a draft order supporting Ligado's plans to take over spectrum for 5G development in a way that would damage global positioning system and U.S. national security:
