On April 15, 2020, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) led a bipartisan group of New Jersey's Congressional delegation to request that the U.S. Public Health Service deploy men and women to assist with critical staffing needs at long-term care facilities in New Jersey to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
