WASHINGTON, April 15 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement regarding the Trump administration's decision to resume a large portion of U.S. assistance to Central America more than a year after it was cut off:
