HONOLULU, Hawaii, April 15 -- Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawai'i) announced that Hawai'i airports will receive more than $133 million in new federal funding under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The new funding will help support airports and its workers experiencing severe economic disruption caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
