WASHINGTON, April 14 -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, issued the following statement after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries+ group, comprised of 23 member nations, collectively agreed to reduce their global oil production by 9.7 million barrels per day:
