WASHINGTON, April 11 -- Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Rep. Jerrold L.
