NEWARK, New Jersey, April 10 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker pressed the Trump Administration to take additional actions to ensure workers receive unemployment insurance as quickly as possible. Over the past three weeks, nearly 577,000 New Jerseyans have filed for unemployment. 215,000 of those claims were filed last week alone.
