WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Rep. Paul Mitchell, R-Michigan, issued the following statement after Senate Democrats blocked a bill that would have provided funding for small businesses facing coronavirus related challenges:
"It is beyond disappointing to see Democrats in the Senate block vital additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program.
"Our small businesses desperately need this program so they can keep people employed. It's time to stop the political . . .
