WASHINGTON, April 8 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York, issued the following statement addressing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's decision to dismiss recommendations for enhanced limo safety requirements:
"I am deeply disturbed by NHTSA's decision not to move forward with critical limousine safety recommendations put forward by the NTSB.
