WASHINGTON, April 2 -- Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson announced that the Federal Transit Authority (FTA) has awarded $1.9 Billion to Texas in transit funding following the President's signing of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
The CARES Act directs FTA to allocate funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus through the existing Urbanized Area . . .
