SMITHFIELD, Rhode Island, April 7 -- Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island issued the following news:
Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood), a not-for-profit health plan that serves approximately one in five Rhode Islanders, announced, effective April 1, it is waiving requirements for health care providers to seek prior authorizations for all behavioral health and all inpatient medical services regardless of whether they are COVID-19 related or not.
