WASHINGTON, April 3 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, after the Food and Drug Administration announced that it revised its policy of turning away blood donations from gay and bisexual men in light of the long-term impacts of the coronavirus crisis on blood supply:
