HOUSTON, Texas, April 3 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29) led an effort with the entire Texas Democratic delegation urging Governor Greg Abbott and Secretary of State Ruth Hughs to implement a no-excuse vote-by-mail program for all elections in the state of Texas until the end of this year. The letter also calls for preserving in-person voting opportunities for those who need them, as long as in-person voting sites . . .
