AUSTIN, Texas, April 2 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Janet Reynolds Cassels as the District Attorney of the 159th Judicial District in Angelina County, effective April 1, 2019, for a term set to expire on December 31, 2020, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
