AUSTIN, Texas, April 2 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has named Debi Hays as the presiding officer of the Commission on State Emergency Communications.
The commission is charged with administering the state 9-1-1 service program and the statewide poison control program.
