OLYMPIA, Washington, April 1 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Northwest Regional Field Office issued the following news release:

Wheat producers in Idaho expect to plant 1.21 million acres of wheat for harvest this year, up 1 percent from 2019. Winter wheat acres planted are estimated at 730,000 acres, unchanged from last year. Planted acres of Durum wheat in Idaho, are estimated at 5,000 for 2020, unchanged from the previous year. S . . .
