WASHINGTON, March 28 -- Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-New York, issued the following statement after the third coronavirus response bill passed the House:
"I am pleased that Congress has finally reached a bipartisan compromise and passed this urgently-needed $2 trillion stimulus package.
"This bill provides immediate support to Long Islanders in several ways, including increased funding for New York's hospitals, direct stimulus checks to qualifying families, expanded . . .
