PIERRE, South Dakota, March 28 -- The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation issued the following news release:
During the week of March 15-21, a total of 1,703 initial weekly claims for unemployment benefits were filed with the Department of Labor and Regulation.
This is an increase of 1,513 claims over the prior week's total of 190.
